Central Hudson Gas and Electric

We have been providing construction services for Central Hudson Gas & Electric for over 15 years. We have completed 31 projects at 7 of their locations throughout the Mid-Hudson Valley. Projects have ranged in size from $1,500 to $8,000,000.

Rondack has constructed and renovated facilities in areas that include; administrative, customer service centers, design and fabrication units, security room, systems operations, auditorium, board room, information center, cafeteria, warehouses, loading docks and heavy equipment maintenance. In addition, we have managed several site-work projects of various kinds.

Our most recent project was the adaptive reuse of a lumber center to a regional office headquarters, storage and maintenance facility. The office renovation was in excess of 40,000 square foot and the maintenance facility was 100,000 square foot. The renovations included new mechanical, electrical, data and partial roof replacements. The warehouse was converted to large equipment and vehicle storage, as well as several mechanic bays. The entire project was completed in 9 months.

One of our skills is working within occupied areas. On all of our interior Central Hudson projects we isolate our site, minimize disruption, reduce dust and noise and maintain a safe site for employees, visitors and workers. We have also worked closely with CH facilities management and users to phase and sequence renovation projects maintaining functional operations.
